Show critique
Thought I would share this as it was her first show I think
1 Rhodachs Dream of Light at Chriskim. Lovely shaped red, good bone and feet, enough forechest, well angulated hindquarters, good ribs and moved out well.
For those who don't know this is Tia[Leia] who is sister to Lincoln and Lexis.
From what I could find she has been placed at each show she has been entered for.
I must try and get Lincoln back in the ring, going to make up a batch of "satin balls" to try and fatten him up so don't get told he is too lean as has happened in the past.

Re: Show critique
Sorry Rhona but theres is no picture for a critique...I sure would like to see her at a mature age
Re: Show critique
I don't have an up to date pic her,the last stacked pic was when she was about 8-9 months old, I was just so pleased that a judge found one of my pups so good and not picked one of the well known kennel names I wanted to share with you on the forum. She apparently went over the 5Kg[11lb] limit we are allowed but managed to get rid of a bit, both her and Lincoln are big boned and Lexis is built more dainty like Lois.
This one is Lincoln nearly 10 months old but not that good because everyone wanted in on the act including the oldies.
Tia on the same day
Tia at 8 months old with less coat
She has since had a litter and one of her daughters Bramble has been kept and is looking good for the ring, she is black and tan.
If you put "Chriskim" in a search engine it should come up with their website here in the UK.

Re: Show critique
I have added the most recent pics I have, they will be 3 on Xmas day, that time has flown by.
Re: Show critique
How great is that to have the judge say such
nice things about one of your dogs you have bred.
Congrats!

Thanks Cindy for your comment
Just need someone to admire her brother in the same way.

That is wonderful news! Yes, get Lincoln back in the ring - I think he is lovely from what I can tell by the angle of the picture.
Re: Show critique
I think Lincoln is just as nice, at 10 months the girl is going to look more mature...Did lincoln go over the weight limit too?
Re: Show critique
No he is under weight and 3 judges mentioned he was too lean so need to get some weight on him and then enter a few shows to see what comments I get then as to whether I continue. Other dachsie owners who have seen him have liked what they can see and feel it is just his weight that is the problem.
Will try "satin balls" as trying different kibbles hasn't worked, they are free fed so there is always food available.
