Engli's Gotcha Day
On Tues Dec 13th 2003 we brought Engli home, just before her 4th birthday. What a sweet, happy, bouncy girl, she is such a delightful, fun, little sweetheart, and so gentle. She is the reason we have 2 more. As her breeder mentioned yesterday when we chatted, she's Miss Personality. I remember bringing her to a dog show, and walking through the area where the handlers have their dogs, I had people coming up to me, asking, "Is this Engli?" It seems she made many friends in the show world. I'm so glad she ended up with us, there were people who wanted to bring her home to their place. We won the lottery with her.
We love you Engli and wish you many more healthy, happy, bouncy years!
Some favorite photos that you'll remember...My senior. Her tan markings are all grey but that's the only thing that show's her age.
I have to add that when her dish of food is coming to her spot, she dances and twirls with happiness. She's the only dog I know who finishes her meal then comes over for kisses. Very charming and endearing.
She still gets a cup of food a day.

You always have such great action shots of your crew!!
Love the orange ball sitting on the bed with her looking up at it
as if asking, "now, how about now, come on now?"
What kind of ferns are those behind the hostas? Wish I could grow
something like that in my yard. Wonder if they would do well in a
bog around the pond.....hummmmm.

Re: Engli's Gotcha Day
They grow quite tall, 3 to 4 feet each summer. The dogs can run between the stalks easily. I believe they look like the fern at the top of this page...

We have cold winters but there's quite a bit of snow cover on them. I really like them. Just cut back the dried up foliage in the fall.
Here's a better photo..I'm not exactly sure how they survived the big ball abuse. lol They do make it difficult for the dogs to try to dig out under the fence.
