Desert was spayed in March and will be going to her new home next week in New York City, NY. Smile Her new people are very excited to get her. They have 2 other dachshunds so it will be fun for them. I made the airline arrangements yesterday. I am going to Omaha to drop her off at the airport next friday when I go the the show in Grand Island, NE.

This summer (August) Bentley will be going to live with my sister in Azusa (LA area), CA. She is very excited to take him home with her. She is finally moving into a place where she can have a dog in June. Hopefully I will have his JE (junior earthdog) title finished by the time he goes. She plans to continue earthdog with him, do some Field trials, obedience, nosework, and hopefully continue with coursing ability tests (CAT). She also wants to show him in UKC. If he earns his field title he can earn his mom her ROMX. Smile

It will just be Railey and Tucker here. I plan to continue earthdog and CAT with both. Also I am "specialing" railey this year. She is invited to Eukanuba in December 2012 in Florida so I hope to go there this year as well. I am on the list for a show bitch puppy, they are to be born in May. Hopefully I can get one from that breeding. Also looking at a really nice boy from Russia. puppykisses

Oooh. Keep us posted. Are you looking at buying the boy, or using him for Railey?

Nope I will breed Railey to a standard this is a mini boy (9-10lbs). I want to get him to show and possibly use on the puppy girl that I plan to get from my friends that are having a litter.

Oh, how cool! Best of luck-that's going to be fun working on importing him!

yes it is. will be hard to put her on the plane, but I know she is going to a good home that will spoil her rotten. My sister has been wanting a dog, but wanted to originally take railey, well we decided it would be too hard (& expensive) to fly with Railey when she comes home for christmas.

Good Luck with all your decisions, it is hard to see them go but it is the dogs best interest that is important in the end.

Look forward to hearing about your new additions when they arrive.
