Hello to All from Beautiful British Columbia Canada

My name is Lisa and I've been involved in showing dogs for over 20 yrs now.....oh my I'm getting up there! The first dog I showed was a Bullmastiff and the very first time I entered the show ring we were awarded a second place......sounds not bad but the problem was we were the only entry.....lol.....most would turn and run but not me I was up to a challenge and spent the following years learning all I could about canine conformation etc. and I am still learning to this day. I went on to show Rotties and bred 4 litters over the past 20 yrs which produced 5 champions and several pointed dogs/bitches as well as one in the top 10 in the Country. About 9 yrs ago I acquired my first Dachshund and from there I haven't looked back. I have all three coat varieties in miniature and a one and only Standard Wirehaired bitch. I've been blessed to have some very nice and successful dogs which have obtained their Champion Titles both here in Canada and the USA .....which I've either bred myself or purchased from experienced great breeders. Have had dogs in the top 5 in the country on several occasions. My Wire boy Frankie was #1 mini wire last year and is currently #2 this year with very limited showing.
Anyway enough about me and my dogs.....glad to come onboard to learn and share with others that have the same goals in mind.

Hi Lisa!

Nice to meet you. I also started showing with a different breed 20+ years ago, afghan hounds. I have had doxies the majority of my life and am just getting ready to have one of mine shown with a handler.
