Difference between creams and reds
I tried earlier to explain the difference between shaded reds and shaded cream when very young.
Here are a couple of pics to help with that explanation
Chase shaded cream and Elsie bl/cream aged 2 weeks[don't have earlier pics]
The smokey grey is more obvious on the points of Elsie and small pic of her at 8weeks old
My 3 shaded red pups showing the shading to be black at about the same age.
Hope this is better visually than in text.

Yep. It's hard when you breed a cream to a red (which I do a lot)..if I see any hint of red what-so-ever, I mark the pups as red. I also look for dark lines down the back of the pup..usually always a sign of a red. I wait on mine most always for 2 weeks of age before labeling them as a cream...seems the cream starts to surface more and becomes more apparent by then...
